The dining room is at the heart of the castle and everyone eats together around one table. This is no bland hotel offering, it's an invitation to be part of a unique country house experience.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and there is absolutely no reason to ruin a perfectly lazy morning here by having to scramble out of bed for it. Breakfast is a leisurely affair which seldom kicks off much before nine and finishes well into the late morning. As well as breakfast we offer:
Our food comes from the heart, taking the best ingredients and cooking them simply and without fuss. Buy gift certificates or experiences here.
Afternoon tea is a theatrical affair of finger sandwiches, freshly made cakes, scones with jam and clotted cream and lashings of tea, coffee or champagne.
At dinner the socialising kicks off before dinner in the Conservatory honesty bar where you can try out your bar tending skills. We serve a three course menu and we ask guests to let us know in advance of anything they are unable to eat so their choices aren't limited. Dinner is served every night April - October if booked and on Fridays and Saturdays or by prior arrangement November to March.
Children can eat with everyone at dinner or have their own big table experience in the Dining Room or Library earlier with other younger guests.
