With beds for up to 28 guests, we can provide everything you need for a fully catered, relaxed weekend to celebrate or unwind so there's no need to leave once you're here but there are a host of activities to make the party even more of an event.
Choose from our adventure, explore, gourmet or drink and be merry packages where we put together all the ideas for a weekend that fits your personal style and taste.
Cumbria is the Outdoor Adventure Capital of Britain and Yorkshire is celebrating its own Year of Adventure so there's never been a better time to get out there.
Try quad-biking, go-kart racing, archery, clay pigeon shooting, falconry, game shoots, off-road driving, climbing, kayaking, sailing and even skiing at nearby Rookin House or Holmescales Activity centres or on our neighbouring sporting estates, or explore the Eden Valley, Lakes & Dales in a vintage bus.
Back at the castle, for party entertainment with a twist, how about a casino night, a themed murder mystery evening or even a wild west bucking bronco?
The castle has an all-weather tennis court, complete with automatic ball machine if you can’t find a willing partner, an outdoor play park for the kids and nearby are indoor and outdoor swimming pools, natural river swimming holes, golf, endless uncrowded walking and horse trail riding.
