News of some of our Other Accolades

In the recent British Travel Awards we were finalists as Individual Hotel of the Year 2010, won by The Dorchester in London.

For two years running in 2006 & 2007 We were nominated as Best Castle Hotel in England at the World Travel Awards.

We are back in the 2011 Good Hotel Guide which many consider to be the greatest accolade a hotelier can boast.

We are also one of only three places in Britain to be awarded a full set of three 'Ethical Awards' by leading travel guide publisher, Alastair Sawday. Sawdays know a thing or two about the sort of place we are so these awards mean a lot to us.

It was a Grand Slam for Augill Castle on St George's Day, April 23 2009 when, at the National Railway Museum in York, we were named National Guest Accommodation of the Year 2009/10 at the Enjoy England Awards for Excellence. This came at the end of a year in which we won awards for Guest Accommodation of the Year from both Cumbria Tourism and England's North West Tourism Awards.

It's all just so exciting...
