Weddings for up to forty can dine in the magnificent blue and gold dining room banquet style along two eighteen foot oak refectory tables and smaller groups (up to 20) eat together around one huge dining table. In any event, with fourteen bedrooms there is space for twenty-eight overnight guests.
Wedding ceremonies take place either in the Music Room with it's grand piano and big south facing bay windows, the Great Hall with its tudor oak paneling, leaded windows, roaring fire and then chance to enter down a sweeping staircase lit by a grand stained glass window or the Drawing Room decorated in bronze, purple & cream with views across the castle lawns.
There are fifteen acres of grounds including several wrought iron gazebos offering stunning wedding photograph opportunities with the castle as your backdrop.
There is no formula; no set packages. Each Augill Castle wedding is as unique as the setting itself. You plan your day, plan your menu, decide on timings and it happens.
We can help you with wedding flowers, photographers, musicians and entertainment, transport and additional accommodation. In fact, we have everything you need at our fingertips to create the ultimate stress-free wedding in a one of the most unique wedding venues in the Lake District & Yorkshire.
Rates are transparent and include all the basic elements you need to make your celebration perfect. We even include a full planning service. There are no hidden extras. The only necessaries not included are your bar and wine bill but there are options to take the sting out of those too!
