This year sees a big change to Augill Castle. For the first time in twenty one years we have a full service restaurant – JustinWoods@Augill.

Justin brings his Michelin-starred experience to the castle from a top Lake District hotel where he was executive head chef.

He started his career in Switzerland and then cut his culinary teeth under celebrity chef John Burton-Race at the two Michelin-starred l’Ortolan in Berkshire. He went on to The Lanesborough at Hyde Park Corner where he rose to executive sous chef.

Justin lives locally to the castle with his wife and two daughters and is passionate about rooting out what’s best about local farmers and producers and showcasing it on his menus.
