The Music Room is our restaurant at Augill and our philosophy is simple, ‘to bring together flavours from around the world with the best local produce,  served in friendly, unstuffy surroundings ’.

Our menus change with the seasons and our food is cooked simply and without fuss in the friendliest atmosphere. It’s what we’ve always striven to do at Augill, only better. 

To ensure our team have a decent work-life balance and to make sure they are at their best the restaurant is open Wednesday to Sunday.

Hot smoked salmon, truffle, chilli, coriander slaw

Tea smoked duck – caramelised orange, rocket

Pickled beetroot, goat cheese mousse, red onion marmalade

King prawns – pineapple & chilli salsa, red pepper puree


Marinated lamb chump – broad beans, water cress puree, crispy kale, mashed potato, balsamic red onion jus

Spiced venison haunch – celeriac puree, charred cauliflower, fondant potato, pickled wild mushrooms

Loin of cod – clams, crushed new potatoes, spinach, white wine & garlic sauce

Baked fillet of hake – borlotti ragu, mussels, crispy kale

Wild mushroom arancini – chilli tomato sauce, watercress, parmesan crisp

Free range breast of chicken – crispy chicken skin, potato latke, sweet potato puree, carrot & courgette, Madeira jus


Chocolate tart – strawberry ice cream

Vanilla panna cotta – fruit compote

White chocolate cheese mousse, raspberry puree, meringue, chocolate & shortbread crumb

Classic creme brûlée
