Inspired by the hit TV show, our Traitors-style supper event invites guests to step into a world where appearances deceive and loyalties are tested. From 6pm, you'll be welcomed into the castle for an immersive evening of missions, accusations, secret roles and surprising twists, all culminating in a final dramatic reveal. Enjoy a delicious supper, gather clues, build alliances and decide who deserves to be banished. Just remember... The biggest smile in the room could belong to a Betrayer.

Augill Castle has been welcoming guests for decades as one of Cumbria’s most beloved boutique castle hotels. These Traitors-style events mark something entirely new – an experience designed for people who want to feel genuinely immersed, not just entertained.
Unlike an escape room or a murder mystery dinner, there’s no script and no safe distance from the action. You’re embedded in the game for the full duration of your stay, eating, socialising and strategising with people who may, or may not, be working against you. The castle’s intimate rooms, atmospheric dining spaces and sweeping grounds all become part of the arena.

Do I need to come with a group?
Not at all. Solo guests and couples are very welcome at both the weekend and evening experiences. Part of the game’s appeal is meeting new people – and immediately wondering whether to trust them.
Is this suitable if I haven't watched the TV show?
Absolutely. The game is self-explanatory and fully hosted by the Augill Castle team. No prior knowledge of the television programme is needed – just a willingness to play, strategise and (possibly) deceive.
How many people will be at the weekend experience?
Places are strictly limited to keep the experience intimate and the game genuinely unpredictable. Exact numbers will vary, but this is designed as a small, close-knit gathering – not a large public event.
What happens if I need to cancel?
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place at either experience. We recommend checking whether your travel insurance covers event bookings in case of unforeseen circumstances.
Can I book a private version for a specific occasion?
Yes – the Bring Your Own Traitors private experience allows you to take over the entire castle for your group. Private bookings start from £8,200 for up to 20 guests. Use the enquiry button above and Wendy and the team will be in touch.
Where is Augill Castle?
Augill Castle is located near Brough in Cumbria, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales and within easy reach of the Lake District. It’s accessible from the M6 (Junction 38) and has on-site parking. The nearest train stations are Kirkby Stephen and Penrith.
