Our famous pop-up comedy club, Comedy in a Castle is back for its third season. In association with The Shoe Cake Comedy Club we’re bringing back regular comedy to Augill Castle this autumn and your sides will be splitting with laughter as well as great food.
On the third Sunday of each month we’re hosting a comedy supper. A host of acts from TV, the regular stand-up comedy circuit as well as from the Edinburgh Fringe will entertain you over a light supper as well as drinks from our new bar, including a new cocktail list.
Our first night of 2023 is Sunday October 15 headlined by the incomparable Lou Conran – regular support act to Sarah Millican and Eddy Brimson who Sky describes as ‘quite simply brilliant’.
On Sunday November 19 you’ll be entertained by MC Hammersmith – regular support for John Bishop -with Kevin Finn, Scottish Comedy Awards winner and internet sensation Howard Walker.
For our Christmas show on Sunday December 17 we’re bringing you Nina Gilligan, Chortle’s Best Comedian of 2023 supported by Leicester Mercury Comedy Award winner Cal Herbert and Yorkshire Comedian of the Year 2022/23 Tony Cowards.
So join us for an achingly entertaining night out and help us make it a regular fun way to inject some laughter into the darker months.
Supper and comedy is £40 per person. We’ll have some comedy-only tickets at £25 each but numbers will be limited.
